Mike draws on a deep foundation of experience from his leadership roles as the former CTO and Co-Founder of Kainos Dental Technologies, former CTO for Maxx Dental Technologies, and Director of Implant Design for iDentical Implants—the first 3D printed patient-specific, drill-free dental implant in the US. He combines this executive insight with extensive, hands-on knowledge gained directly in both dental laboratory and clinical environments.

Our History
Our story began in a California dental lab, where Michael served as co-founder and CTO. It was there that he recognized a significant need for more precise and digitized workflows for complex dental implant technology cases. This challenge led him to develop a process for acquiring dental implant impressions digitally, even before it was a common option. What started off as a tedious procedure in the dental laboratory became a major selling point and ultimately a standard procedure once the intraoral scanbody was developed. With the knowledge he gained in developing this process, he gradually began assisting other companies in the dental implant technology sector with creating their own CAD libraries. What began as an innovative solution for the dental lab quickly evolved into a dedicated business, solidifying the mission to advance dental technology and support a wider range of partners in the dental industry. Finke Consulting Group has since become a reputable, well-established resource for the US dental industry, continuing to support companies large and small while embracing advancements like 3D printing in dentistry.
